About
A deals club that explains the catch
Vacation Deals Club is a free publication for travelers who want the real cost and the catch explained before they book anything.
Who it is for
The club starts with U.S. travelers — couples and small families with flexible dates — looking for three-to-seven-night hotel, resort, and package escapes. Our first edition leans toward departures from Northeast cities, including trips that need no flight at all. As the club grows, editions can follow other departure areas; members tell us where they travel from when they join.
What every offer shows
Each published offer meets the same standard — the same five things, every time:
- What it costs. The operator’s own published savings and price basis — never a price we invented or a live number we cannot see.
- Bookable conditions. The dates, booking windows, and deadlines exactly as the operator publishes them, with the day we checked.
- Included and excluded. What the fare or rate covers, and — just as important — what it does not.
- Restrictions. Blackout dates, combinability rules, and the small print that changes the deal.
- Why we picked it. Our own explanation of the value — and “the catch”, stated plainly, not buried.
The catch gets its own prominent section on every page. It is an editorial judgment, and it is the part readers can learn to trust.
What we don't do
- We don't scrape or republish live prices. Offers come from travel operators' own published offer pages, checked by hand, on the date shown.
- We don't invent countdowns or discounts. If an operator's page says "up to", we say "up to" — and we show what the maximum actually requires.
- We don't book travel or hold your money. Every booking happens on the operator's own site. We are a publication, not a travel agency.
- We don't blur the labels. Hotel-only stays are labeled hotel-only; packages are labeled as what they are. When flights are not part of an offer, we say so.
How offers leave the list
An offer that has passed its deadline, or that is overdue for re-verification, stops being presented as current — the checked date on every page is the reader's tool, not a decoration. Nothing on this site refreshes its own timestamp automatically; a date here means a person read the operator's page that day.
Where the deals come from
At launch, the club links directly to operators' own offer pages and earns nothing when readers book. We plan to add referral partnerships with travel providers — Expedia Group, Booking.com, Viator and similar programs — and when a link earns us a commission, the page carrying it will say so right next to the link. That is a promise with a deadline of "always"; see the full disclosure.
Corrections
Offers change, pages move, terms get updated. If any fact on this site disagrees with the operator's own page, the operator wins — and we want to hear about it so the page gets fixed. Write to hello@vacationdealsclub.com with:
- The page and the fact that is wrong
- What it should say (a link to the operator's page helps)
Corrections that change what an offer is worth get fixed promptly, and an offer we can no longer verify comes off the list.
